Directions
Elk Mountain Ski Resort is located about 30 miles north of Scranton, Pennsylvania, off of Interstate 81 Exit 206 (formerly Exit 63).

From Philadelphia, Allentown, Southern New Jersey or Delaware
Use the N.E. Extension (Route 476) to Exit 131 (formerly Exit 39), then I-81 North to Exit 206 (formerly Exit 63) to Route 374 East.
Approximate drive time from Philadelphia area: 2 hrs, 20 minutes.

From The Delaware Water Gap
Use I-80 West to I-380 North to I-81 North to Exit 206 (formerly Exit 63) to Route 374 East.
Approximate drive time from Stroudsburg, PA: 1 hr, 15 minutes.

From Binghamton, NY
I-81 South to Exit 211 (formerly Exit 64) and follow signs.
Approximate drive time from Binghamton: 45 minutes.

Getting on the Slopes:

It is our goal to get you and your family on the slopes as soon as possible upon your arrival. If it’s your first time at Elk Mountain, please take a moment to read the details below. We look forward to seeing you on the mountain!

Parking:
We invite you to take advantage of complimentary onsite parking at Elk Mountain. Do you plan to come to Elk Mountain quite a bit this season? Passes for the upper lot closest to the slopes are available for purchase at the main lodge.

Hop on the Elkwagen:
Grab your gear out of the trunk of your vehicle, walk over to the base of lifts E and F, and hop on the Elkwagen, a free ride to the main lodge.

Main Lodge & Tickets:
Take the boardwalk to the entrance of the the main lodge to purchase your lift tickets. Season Pass holders skip the line!

Get Geared Up:
Find a comfy spot in the lodge to put on your boots, place items in the lockers, and make your way to the Ski Shop and Rental & Repair Shop, located in the lower level of the lodge, to complete your ensemble.
